Manage Spam Protection

cPanel includes Apache SpamAssassin to filter unwanted emails.

Enabling Spam Filters

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. Go to Spam Filters
  3. Click Process New Emails and Mark them as Spam

Auto-Delete Spam

  1. In Spam Filters, enable auto-delete
  2. Set the spam score threshold (5 is default)
  3. Emails scoring above this are deleted

Spam Score Explained

Whitelist Senders

  1. Go to Spam Filters → Show Additional Configurations
  2. Edit the whitelist
  3. Add trusted email addresses

Blacklist Senders

Block specific addresses or domains:

  1. Go to Spam Filters → Additional Configurations
  2. Add addresses to the blacklist
Tip: Check your spam folder regularly. Legitimate emails sometimes get caught.
