Subdomains like blog.yourdomain.com or shop.yourdomain.com are useful for separate sections of your site.

Creating a Subdomain

1. Log in to cPanel
2. Go to Domains
3. Click Create A New Domain
4. Enter the full subdomain (e.g., blog.yourdomain.com)
5. Set the document root
6. Click Submit

Document Root Options

• Separate folder: public_html/blog
• Same as main site: Share with yourdomain.com

Common Subdomains

• www - Main website (usually automatic)
• blog - Blog section
• shop - E-commerce store
• mail - Webmail access
• staging - Test/development site

SSL for Subdomains

AutoSSL automatically covers subdomains. Check status in cPanel → SSL/TLS Status.
