Adding Another Domain to Your Account

Addon domains let you host multiple websites on a single hosting account.

Before You Start

• Ensure your package includes addon domains
• Point the domain's nameservers to HappilyHosted first
• Wait for DNS propagation (1-48 hours)

Adding an Addon Domain

1. Log in to cPanel
2. Go to Domains (or Addon Domains on older cPanel)
3. Click Create A New Domain
4. Enter your domain name
5. The document root will auto-fill (e.g., public_html/newdomain.com)
6. Click Submit

Where to Upload Files

Each addon domain has its own folder:

• Main domain: public_html
• Addon domain: public_html/addondomain.com

SSL for Addon Domains

AutoSSL will automatically install a free SSL certificate within a few hours. You can check status in cPanel → SSL/TLS Status.

Creating Email for Addon Domains

Go to cPanel → Email Accounts and select your addon domain from the dropdown when creating a new email.
