Move Your WordPress Site

Migrate your existing WordPress site to HappilyHosted.

Method 1: Using a Plugin (Easiest)

Using All-in-One WP Migration

1. On your old site, install All-in-One WP Migration plugin
2. Go to All-in-One WP Migration → Export
3. Click Export To → File
4. Download the .wpress file
5. Install fresh WordPress on HappilyHosted via Softaculous
6. Install the same plugin on the new site
7. Go to All-in-One WP Migration → Import
8. Upload your .wpress file
9. Follow the prompts to complete

Method 2: Manual Migration

Step 1: Export Database

1. On old host, go to phpMyAdmin
2. Select your WordPress database
3. Click Export → Go
4. Save the .sql file

Step 2: Download Files

1. Connect to old host via FTP
2. Download entire WordPress folder

Step 3: Upload to HappilyHosted

1. Upload files to public_html via FTP
2. Create a new database in cPanel
3. Import .sql file via phpMyAdmin
4. Update wp-config.php with new database details

After Migration

• Update URLs if domain changed (use Better Search Replace plugin)
• Check all pages and posts
• Test contact forms
• Verify SSL is working
