Installing WordPress via Softaculous

One-Click WordPress Installation

Softaculous makes installing WordPress quick and easy.

Installation Steps

1. Log in to cPanel
2. Find Softaculous Apps Installer
3. Click the WordPress icon
4. Click Install Now
5. Configure your installation:
   • Choose Protocol: https://
   • Choose Domain: Select your domain
   • In Directory: Leave blank for root, or enter folder name
   • Site Name: Your website title
   • Site Description: Your tagline
   • Admin Username: Choose something unique (not "admin")
   • Admin Password: Use a strong password
   • Admin Email: Your email address
6. Click Install

After Installation

• Your site: https://yourdomain.com
• Admin login: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin

First Steps After Installing

1. Log in to wp-admin
2. Go to Settings → Permalinks → Select "Post name"
3. Install a security plugin (Wordfence recommended)
4. Delete the sample post, page, and comment
5. Choose and install a theme
