Block Unwanted Visitors
Block specific IP addresses from accessing your website.
Using IP Blocker
- Log in to cPanel
- Go to IP Blocker
- Enter the IP address to block
- Click Add
IP Formats You Can Block
- Single IP: 192.168.1.1
- Range: 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.50
- CIDR: 192.168.1.0/24 (blocks 256 IPs)
- Implied range: 192.168.1. (blocks 192.168.1.0-255)
Finding Problematic IPs
- Go to cPanel → Raw Access or Metrics
- Download access logs
- Look for IPs making excessive requests
- Check for suspicious patterns
Removing a Block
- Go to IP Blocker
- Find the IP in the list
- Click Delete
Caution: Be careful not to block legitimate users or your own IP address.
