Block Unwanted Visitors

Block specific IP addresses from accessing your website.

Using IP Blocker

1. Log in to cPanel
2. Go to IP Blocker
3. Enter the IP address to block
4. Click Add

IP Formats You Can Block

• Single IP: 192.168.1.1
• Range: 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.50
• CIDR: 192.168.1.0/24 (blocks 256 IPs)
• Implied range: 192.168.1. (blocks 192.168.1.0-255)

Finding Problematic IPs

1. Go to cPanel → Raw Access or Metrics
2. Download access logs
3. Look for IPs making excessive requests
4. Check for suspicious patterns

Removing a Block

1. Go to IP Blocker
2. Find the IP in the list
3. Click Delete
